Whether you are looking for a car seat alert for your baby, toddler or child, our Maxi-Cosi e-Safety is an anti-abandon car seat cushion that fits most Maxi-Cosi car seats. It detects when your little one is sitting in the car seat and sends an alarm notification to your smartphone when you are more than 20 metres (65 feet) away.

1. Smart car seat

To install e-Safety, simply place the smart cushion into the car seat. Make sure that you check if e-Safety detects your little one when using the smart cushion for the first time. If your car seat comes with an inlay, and e-Safety is placed underneath, it might impact the accuracy of the sensor pad. Therefore, make sure to always place the smart cushion on top of the inlay, to guarantee that it will correctly detect your little one.

2. Connected with smartphone

Download the Maxi-Cosi e-Safety app on your smartphone. The app is available for iOS and Android systems in multiple languages.

Did you know that up to four Maxi-Cosi e-Safety smart cushions can be linked to the app? This way e-Safety can be used for the whole family.

3. Alarm notification

Unintentionally left your little one unattended in the car? e-Safety knows when you have gone too far. Whenever you and your smartphone are more than 20 metres (65 feet) away, the app will send you an alarm notification. This way, you can take immediate action. At Maxi-Cosi, we recommend parents to test this feature when they first use e-Safety, to ensure that it will alarm you whenever needed.

4. GPS location sharing

No response within 60 seconds? Your child’s accurate GPS location will be shared with up to two contacts. These emergency contacts can be added in the e-Safety app by parents themselves, so they know exactly who will be notified.

Makes your car seat smart

Maxi-Cosi e-Safety makes your car seat smart and keeps your little one safe. e-Safety is a car seat accessory with child reminder functionality, supporting parents when travelling by car. The smart car seat cushion enables child detection when your little one weighs at least 2.5 kg (5.5 lbs) and can be used up until they are six. An alarm notification will be sent to your phone when your child is left unattended in the car. No direct response? Then your child’s location is shared with an emergency contact, so they can take immediate action.

Removable cover

Our e-Safety smart cushion can be used daily for multiple years, which is why you might want to fresh it up after a while. Luckily, the cushion is machine washable for easy cleaning. Simply remove the cover and do not forget to take out the sensor pad first before washing!
